The November 2025 issue of Global Gypsum Magazine is the second of two issues to be distributed at the Global Insulation Conference in Baveno, Italy. In line with the themes of this event, there’s a review of future prospects for the European insulation sector. The main gypsum section contains an in-depth discussion on the past, present and future of Canada-based gypsum plant equipment manufacturer Gyptech, as well as a plant visit report from Etex’s Huachipa plant in Peru, and technical articles on stockpile management and gypsum spraying. There’s also a full report from the recent Global Gypsum Conference in Amsterdam, Netherlands, which, with 470 registered delegates, was the largest ever edition of the event!

The October 2025 issue of Global Gypsum Magazine includes discussion of Grenzebach’s Ultra-High Efficiency Dryer and a look at how Sanjin Gypsum is slashing its CO2 emissions with a new solar power plant. There’s a report on the Dutch (and Belgian) to fit in with the location of the Global Gypsum Conference in Amsterdam, as well as on gypsum supplies in Germany and a look at how the US wallboard sector will develop in light of President Trump’s tariffs. This issue also hears from flextos, which is pushing the boundaries of what ‘flat, boring’ wallboard can do.

There’s also a review of the growing wallboard sector in South America and a look at how heat pumps can be ingeniously used to substitute for part of the thermal fuel used in the dryer. There’s also the latest light building materials and insulation sector news, plus a look at the use of regenerative thermal oxidation to decrease emissions from insulation plants.
