Philippines: The government has enacted anti-dumping duties of 8.5% on imports of gypsum wallboard from Thailand-based Gypman Tech and of 9.2% on those from other Thai exporters. BusinessWorld News has reported that the measures will remain in force until the end of February 2031.
An investigation by the Department of Trade and Industry found that 71% of imports and 40% of total consumption of gypsum wallboard between 2019 and September 2024 was ‘dumped.’
