UK: Saint-Gobain subsidiary British Gypsum has launched Thistle MultiFinish gypsum wallboard finish. The producer says that the finish retains the same formulation and performance characteristics as existing products that require trowel finishing, while also being suitable for spray application. The company carried out tests on plasterboard using Agrekom Spray Plaster, Kosner MK20, Predator Pro Spray Plus and TurboMax TX770 spray applicators.
British Gypsum notes that spray application of finishes best suits mid- to large-scale construction projects.
